Nouvago Capital's Perfect Storm Music Group wins Song of the Year at the BMI London Awards
Nouvago Capital's Perfect Storm Music Group's first signed songwriter Ali Tamposi won the prestigious award for Song of the Year at the BMI London Awards with the song Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You) the 15th of October.
BMI annually organizes awards to honor songwriters, composers and publishers who have created the best and most played songs on the radio. BMI annually appoints a winner in the prestigious category BMI Icon. This year John Lydon from Sex Pistols was awarded for his influence on generations of music makers. The hit song Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You) was awarded with Song of the Year, which is written by Perfect Storm's Ali Tamposi, together with Jörgen Elofsson, David Gamson and Greg Kurstin, who also have produced the single. The hit song, performed by the artist Kelly Clarkson has become a pop smash hit in countries around the world and has topped the U.S Billboard Hot 100 among other. Over five million copies have been sold.
